I am so over apartment life. I want to buy me a house pretty bad, but just don't know where I want to make this commitment. I like Utah well enough, but I'm just really unsure if I want to continue living here. All of my immediate family lives here, and that plus a steady job is what has kept me here so far. But I'm so ready for a change! I think I'm at a cross-roads in my life where I'm questioning every little thing. It basically started when I hit the big 3-0.
If I do choose to stay in Utah, I want to be able to live somewhere that I enjoy. I love Davis County for the most part, but it's so expensive. There are some seriously adorable houses in Farmington, but there's no way I could afford them. I would need a raise for that, which isn't going to happen in the near future..... So, where does that leave me?
My lease is up in I believe April and by then I will need to know what exactly I am going to do. Should I stay in Utah? If so where is a good place to live? Should I leave Utah, find a new job, and get me a change of scenery?
Opinions are welcome.
Hey, I'll be honest, there are quite a few houses for sale on our street, though their fixer uppers. Ours was pretty cheap but we've had to fix a lot of stuff. Hmmmmmm. As much as sometimes I hate the thought of living in Utah, it really is a nice place to live, I think I've finally learned that.
ReplyDeleteI just feel stuck for some reason. Maybe a year out of the state will give me some perspective... We shall see.
